Job Title: Senior Finance Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Finance Manager to join our team. This role will play a critical part in overseeing treasury operations, supporting capital allocation decisions, and delivering high-quality financial reporting to executive leadership and the Board.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical finance expertise, experience working with lenders and financial systems, and a proactive approach to strengthening financial controls. Experience in regulated or infrastructure-oriented industries is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury & Credit Facility Oversight
- Manage day-to-day treasury activities, including liquidity planning and cash flow forecasting
- Oversee compliance with credit facility requirements, including reporting, covenant tracking, and lender communications
- Partner with the CFO on financing strategies and capital structure optimization
Capital Expenditure Planning
- Lead capital expenditure (CapEx) planning in partnership with the Chief Operating Officer, Regulatory and Operations, tracking, and reporting processes within a regulated utility environment
- Partner with operations and leadership to evaluate investment opportunities and ROI, including infrastructure investments
- Work in concert with the designated Sr. Staff Accountant responsible for fixed asset management
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting packages for executive leadership and the Board
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in collaboration with the COO with a focus on quality and insight
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making
Systems Support
- Support system enhancements and process improvements, particularly within Sage Intacct
CFO Support
- Support CFO across a number of key financial projects and ad hoc assignments as needed
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining strong internal controls in a regulated environment
- Support audit processes and ensure compliance with financial policies, regulatory requirements, and procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of finance operations
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
Experience
- 6–10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
- Experience managing or supporting credit facilities and lender reporting requirements
- Private Equity experience a major asset in our evaluation
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills and superior excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams including site GMs and other corporate and operations groups
- Experience preparing materials for executive leadership and Board-level audiences
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- PowerBI and Data Analytics expertise a major plus
- Strong experience with Sage Intacct (or similar ERP systems), with a preference for hands-on Sage Intacct expertise
- Familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., utilities, infrastructure, energy, or similar capital-intensive sectors) strongly preferred

Location:
- Hybrid – 3 days in office with one common day
Compensation & Benefits
Our client offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:
- Base salary range of $140,000 to $160,000
- Target bonus opportunity
