Position Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Finance professional to lead and optimize our day-to-day accounting operations while contributing to strategic financial planning. This role is ideal for someone who can own the numbers end-to-end, interpret financial performance for leadership, and ensure smooth coordination across billing, collections, payroll, and accounts payable functions. You will act as a key partner to leadership, bridging execution, systems, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Oversight & Reporting
- Review and interpret financial statements, providing clear insights to leadership
- Oversee month-end close processes and ensure accuracy of financial reporting
- Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts and integrity of the general ledger (GL)
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making
Systems & Process Optimization
- Troubleshoot and optimize accounting and financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- Ensure seamless integration and coordination across billing (AR), collections, payroll, and AP platforms
- Build, document, and enforce scalable financial processes — not just follow them
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements across workflows
Cross-functional Coordination
- Partner closely with AR (Billing & Collections) and AP/Payroll teams to ensure operational alignment
- Coordinate with external vendors, accountants, or payroll providers as needed
- Support leadership in financial planning meetings and strategic discussions
- Translate financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
Strategic Support
- Participate in planning and forecasting discussions
- Support budgeting processes and financial modeling
- Provide recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
- Help scale financial infrastructure as the company grows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus)
- 8+ years of experience, including experience in senior or lead accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL) and month-end close ownership
- Proven experience with financial statement preparation and reconciliation
- Strong systems proficiency (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems)
- Experience coordinating across AR, AP, and Payroll functions
- Ability to review, interpret, and present financial data to leadership
- Strong process mindset – ability to build and improve workflows
- Advanced English proficiency (C1, written and verbal, US-facing role)

- Familiarity with US GAAP and operational financial practices
