Piper Maddox have been assigned to a leading US land and infrastructure platform in the renewable energy industry as they continue to scale their investment team. This role is crucial to supporting investment, underwriting, portfolio analysis, and strategic decision making across the platform. The platform manages $2 billion worth of investments globally.
The Senior Finance Associate will support investment underwriting, portfolio analysis, and strategic decision making across the platform. You will have the opportunity to play a vital role in a team driving energy investments forward nationally in a time when energy demand is at an all-time high.
What you will do:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, asset performance, and capital deployment decisions.
- Review and structure high value investment opportunities across a variety of energy and infrastructure deals across the US.
- Lead transaction execution and ongoing asset management.
- Own and manage proprietary datasets, including aggregation, validation, and summarization of large data sets.
What you will have:
- Hand on experience in structured financing / investment opportunities within energy, commercial real estate or infrastructure.
- 4-6 years of experience in either investment banking, project finance roles with renewable energy developer or investment firm.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear conclusions.
