BaadMay is looking for a Senior Finance Associate based in Karachi. We offer above-market compensation, a platform for you to grow and make a name for yourself in the industry.
The ideal candidate will take full ownership of financial operations, including recording transactions, managing payments, preparing monthly financial reports, handling tax matters, and coordinating with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, tax authorities, and regulators. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Record all financial transactions accurately and timely in the ledger
* Manage and execute day-to-day payments and monitor cash flow
* Perform monthly bank reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies
* Prepare and finalize monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules)
* Handle all tax filings including withholding tax, sales tax, and income tax
* Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders: banks, auditors, tax consultants, and regulators
* Support regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with financial and legal standards
* Maintain organized financial records and ensure audit readiness
* Identify and implement process improvements in finance operations
Requirements:
* ACCA or ACCA ( 12 Papers Cleared) or BBA in Accounting & Finance
* 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or audit
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance
* Proficient in recording transactions, ledger management, and financial reporting
* Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or ERP systems)
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
* High sense of ownership, diligence, and attention to detail
