We're working with the largest funeral service provider in Germany, uniting around 90 funeral brands and over 300 branches nationwide under one roof. This organisation is a leader in a sensitive and essential industry, dedicated to providing compassionate and professional services.
The Role
- Create rolling financial forecasts to achieve targets
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements according to national (HGB) or international (IFRS) standards
- Prepare meaningful key figures (KPIs), P&L analyses, and variance analyses for decision-makers
- Ensure financial audits, compliance with internal and external regulations, and alignment with GRC requirements
- Monitor cash flows and secure the company's long-term solvency
- Identify cost drivers and develop measures to address them
What You'll Need
- Successfully completed a degree in economics (Business Administration, Finance), ideally with a Master's degree, or comparable qualification
- Minimum of six years of relevant professional experience in management consulting, auditing, or an industrial company
- Strong financial knowledge in liquidity planning, monthly and annual financial statements, financial planning, and cash flows
- Experience in implementing digital financial processes, particularly with technical programs
- Analytical skills in financial analysis, financial modeling, and budgeting processes
- Strategic thinking to analyze complex financial contexts and translate them into business actions
