We are partnering with a large, well-established Australian organisation to recruit a Finance Analyst This role offers broad exposure across financial analysis, reporting and business partnering.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of finance and operations, supporting senior stakeholders with insightful analysis, forecasting and performance reporting. You will work closely with leadership to help drive commercial decision-making in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis, reporting and commentary
- Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes
- Build and maintain financial models to support strategic and operational decisions
- Partner with operational stakeholders to provide commercial insights
- Assist with month-end close, management reporting and performance dashboards
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting efficiency
- Support ad hoc projects and business initiatives as required
About You
- CA or CPA qualified
- Background in Big 4 audit, transaction services, or advisory (highly regarded)
- Previous experience in a Finance Analyst position
- Strong financial analysis, modelling and data interpretation skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to translate numbers into insights
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI advantageous
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
