JOB PURPOSE

Senior Executive – People Operations – Payroll ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll, adherence to payroll policies and regulations, and provides support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. This role collaborates with various departments to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations across Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or any relevant field

• Strong knowledge of payroll principles, regulations, tax laws, and labor laws in Egypt

• Professional payroll or accounting certification is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of payroll experience in payroll processing and administration, preferably within retail or high-volume environments.

• Proven hands-on experience in Arabian Gulf payroll processing (Saudi Arabia, GCC).

• Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment is preferred.

• Solid experience using payroll systems (e.g. SAP, Success Factor, or equivalent HR/payroll

systems)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 1,000+ employees across Saudi Arabia and Egypt,

ensuring accurate, timely salary payments and effective administration of employee benefits.

• Ensure full compliance with local payroll standards, tax regulations, and labor laws by monitoring

legislative updates and implementing regulatory changes within payroll operations.

• Perform monthly payroll reconciliations, audits, and reviews, promptly resolving discrepancies to

maintain accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.

• Serve as the main point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing clear, professional,

and timely support while handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality.

• Maintain and update payroll master data within SAP, managing employee lifecycle changes such

as onboarding, offboarding, salary adjustments, and other workforce updates.

• Prepare payroll reports, salary accruals, reconciliations, and financial analytics to support monthly

closing activities and management reporting.

• Collaborate with internal and external audit teams by providing required payroll documentation,

reconciliations, and data to ensure audit readiness and compliance.

• Support payroll planning, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives,

contributing to payroll system enhancements or new system implementations and integration with

broader business functions.
