JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deal with customers directly or through the relevant business departments/branches on behalf of the Bank in order to achieve the business targets set by the Bank;
• To quote FX and MMD rates to customers within approved credit lines and limit;
• Establish and maintain strong business relationship with customers, ensure there is clear customer focus to produce a high standard of customer service in line with the quality and standards set by the Bank;
• Assist the Deputy Head in implementing sales strategies for business growth and expansion;
• To cross sell other banking products/services and provide market updates/information to clients as part of Treasury Sales service;
• To coordinate and work closely with business units and branches on marketing activities and any other sales initiatives;
• To work diligently, efficiently, with a high level of integrity as per the BNM’s and industry’s Code of Conduct for Treasury dealing;
• Ensure all the Bank’s internal policies and operational procedures and external regulatory guidelines are complied with and observed when carrying out assigned duties to minimize associated risks;
• Responsible in setting the Bank's counter rates, prepare market commentary, ROMS reporting and other operational tasks on daily basis;
• Perform other duties as assigned by Deputy Head or Head of Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Undergraduate degree in Finance / Banking / Economic / Accounting or relevant fields from a reputable university.
2. Fresh graduate or having 1 to 2 years experience in Treasury Sales.
3. Must possessed Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia Certificate (PKMC).
4. Strong understanding of financial markets.
5. Candidate who is dynamic, passionate and able to independently drive Treasury Sales is preferred.
6. Able to communicate proficiently in both English and Mandarin.
7. Strong Excel skills and high accuracy will be an advantage.
