Job Description
A leading international financial institution is seeking a senior Corporate Banking professional to lead its European platform. With a focus on inward MNC and outward EU Headquartered activity, this is a high-impact role with responsibility for leading client coverage, originating and executing lending transactions, and overseeing portfolio performance. Responsibilities will include:
- Lead and develop a high-performing Corporate Banking team
- Originate, structure, and execute corporate lending transactions
- Manage and monitor a large loan portfolio, ensuring strong risk oversight
- Build and maintain senior client and internal relationships internationally
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and support broader product delivery
- Contribute to strategic planning and regulatory frameworks
Requirements for this Role
- Extensive experience in international corporate banking coverage in a leadership role (c.10+ years)
- Strong track record in transaction execution, client coverage, and portfolio management
- Deep understanding of lending products, credit risk, and regulatory frameworks
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management at senior level
- Excellent commercial judgement and communication skills
- Advanced qualification (e.g. MBA, professional qualification or equivalent) preferred
