Job Responsibilities:
- Manage risk effectively to maximize profit while ensuring risks are within allowable risk parameters. Manage Wholesale liquidity risk efficiently. Provide guidance to junior dealers
- Manage the Reserve Book, including bond exposures, credit limits, new product papers, and rate strategies.
- Strategize for competitive market environment and identify new source of revenues.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with regulators and counterparties.
- Exercise prudent risk management and control, including review of risk limits to ensure sufficient limits to support business strategy
- Keep abreast with technological advances and introduce improvements to the existing data framework, business productivity and optimize current processes
- Oversee process automation and optimization to improve productivity.
- Provide guidance, continuous knowledge transfer, coaching
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in relevant field, STEM fields are a plus, Finance, Accounting, Business acceptable. Preferably with an MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification
- Comprehensive understanding of all markets products including foreign exchange, money markets, fixed income and derivatives
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships
- Strong leadership, interpersonal & team management skills
- Strong numeracy and quantitative abilities
- Consistently good track record in the Treasury / Markets environment.
- Knowledge of second derivative instruments & other sophisticated financial tools.
- Full understanding of International and local market dynamics
- Understanding of markets operational processes and controls
- Understanding of regulatory issues and controls
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
