LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant in Camden County, NJ. In this hybrid role you will be responsible for corporate cost accounting, including inventory management and partnering with a plant facility to ensure accurate and efficient cost accounting practices.
Key **
Manage corporate cost accounting, including the preparation and analysis of cost reports and financial statements.
Maintain and monitor inventory records
Collaborate closely with the plant facility to develop and implement cost control procedures
Conduct regular cost audits and variance analysis to identify discrepancies
Prepare and present detailed cost analysis reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
5+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
Knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and financial analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
