We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Controller to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at our Las Vegas, NV office. The Senior Controller will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning, and financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information while maintaining compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards.
The Senior Controller will manage accounting processes, lead internal and external audits, and supervise accounting staff. Additionally, this position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support financial accuracy, provide strategic insights for executive decision-making, and contribute to the company’s long-term financial stability and growth.
Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, financial analysis, and budget management
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and audit procedures
- Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic financial management
- Proficiency with financial software and modern accounting systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a high level of attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Prior experience in the home-building or real estate industry is considered an asset
