🚀 We're Hiring: Category Manager – K12 | Unacademy
At Unacademy, we're building one of India's most impactful learning ecosystems for school students, and we're looking for a Category Manager -K12 to help drive growth, learner success, and business performance at scale.
This is a high-ownership role where you'll work closely with educators, product, marketing, sales, and leadership teams to build and scale learning programs that impact millions of students across Classes 6-12.
⚠️ Important: We are looking for candidates strictly from the EdTech industry.
🎓 Candidates from top-tier institutions and strong academic/professional pedigrees will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive category growth through acquisition, retention, and monetization initiatives
- Launch and scale courses, batches, and academic programs
- Partner with educators to ensure academic excellence and learner satisfaction
- Analyze business performance, learner behavior, and market opportunities
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams
- Improve learner engagement, retention, and overall category performance
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in Category Management, Growth, Business Operations, or Program Management
- Mandatory experience in the EdTech industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to drive business growth and manage cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience in K12 education will be a significant advantage
- Strong ownership mindset with excellent execution capabilities
