About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst or Business Consultant with deep expertise in Murex or Calypso systems to lead a critical migration project for a major financial institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and mapping existing business rules and processes from Murex/Calypso to our proprietary system, ensuring a seamless transition for front-to-back operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct business requirement analysis and collaborate with trading, operations, and finance teams to understand current workflows.
Map and document existing business rules, product lifecycle steps, and operational processes within Murex/Calypso systems.
Design and propose future-state business solutions post-migration, focusing on efficiency and compliance.
Develop clear Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the migration.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Business Consultant, or FOPS Support professional with hands-on exposure to Murex or Calypso in a financial environment.
In-depth understanding of OTC derivatives lifecycle management, including booking, operations, clearing, and settlement processes for at least one asset class (e.g., Rates, FX, Credit).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in facilitating workshops and guiding business requirements.
Background in financial institutions (operations/finance departments), consulting firms (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture), or fintech solution architecture is highly preferred.
Ability to work independently and drive project deliverables in a cross-functional team.
