About your impact in this transformation project will be…playing a key part in our transformation strategy, driving business change and achieving key company objectives by aligning technology solutions with business needs. By working closely with our key stakeholders, you will support organisational change to create a valuable and sustainable Data/IT solution environment for members and employees.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Achieve strategic objectives and facilitate transformation initiatives by aligning technology solutions with business needs
  • Translate complex business problems into actionable technical requirements by engaging with stakeholders across the business
  • Advocate for and implement better business analysis disciplines within the wider business and technology team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to design and deliver effective and sustainable IT solutions
  • Ensure transformative outcomes and technology offerings deliver high business value and an exceptional experience for members and employees
  • Create and utilise artefacts including BA practice methodologies, requirements templates, process diagrams, journey maps, change and communication plans and agile practices

How you can make an impact…

You are a competent BA with experience in contributing complex transformation or re-platforming projects within the insurance or financial services industry. You are adept at value stream mapping and have a strong understanding of the solutions development lifecycle. You can confidently translate technical insights into actionable outcomes for non-technical stakeholders and are able to work efficiently across all levels of a business.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated recent experience in a similar position within the insurance or another a highly regulated industry
  • Confident in consulting with and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge and understanding of policy administration, underwriting and claims systems and processes
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Tools (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft 365), Atlassian Toolset (Confluence, JIRA), process mapping, storyboarding and wireframing
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status– unfortunately we cannot accommodate visa holders or sponsorship for this role
  • Ideally be available immediately
