Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (5+ years) to support automation and invoice processing within Finance operations

Join a high-visibility Finance team managing automation and process improvement initiatives across accounts payable, payments, and supplier management. This 12‑month contract supports the Finance group’s operational and project-based needs, combining hands-on business analysis, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. The role offers exposure to multiple systems, including Coupa, People Soft, and SAP General Ledger, within a leading Canadian banking environment.

Must Haves

  • 5+ years in business analysis within Finance or Accounts Payable environments
  • Hands-on experience supporting accounts payable
    , payments
    , and supplier management activities
  • Proficiency with Coupa
    , People Soft
    , and SAP General Ledger systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plus experience with Microsoft Project
    , Teams, and Share Point
  • Background in the banking / financial industry

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience with procure-to-pay processes
  • Experience with invoicing and procurement activities
  • Previous experience working with a Financial Institution
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence

    • Responsibilities

  • Support daily accounts payable operations including invoice processing and discrepancy resolution
  • Plan, execute, and close project tasks to meet defined scope, schedule, and budget
  • Gather, validate, and document business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Maintain project documentation including plans, reports, and change requests
  • Identify process improvements and recommend enhancements for operational efficiency and compliance
  • Collaborate with business, technology, and third‑party partners to secure approvals and align outcomes
