Our client is an independent Swiss private bank built on family values and an authentic client‑centric approach. Renowned for bespoke investment and wealth planning solutions, the bank prioritises long‑term partnerships grounded in trust, transparency, and deep market insight.
The bank is expanding strategically into the Nordic, Central and Eastern European, and Middle East markets. This role involves driving new client acquisition and strengthening relationships with ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients, families, and entrepreneurs across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, and the Gulf, KSA, Turkey, and wider region.
This position can be based in the bank’s Zurich or Geneva office and offers competitive remuneration including generous base salary and formula‑based bonus.
Responsibilities
- Originate and cultivate a strong network of Nordic UHNW clients and family offices.
- Provide high‑touch, customised wealth management solutions, supported by the bank’s open architecture and holistic service model.
- Collaborate closely with investment and discretionary portfolio teams to deliver tailored strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor, combining commercial rigour with deep regional and cultural understanding.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of UHNW clients, families and entrepreneurs across Central and Eastern Europe.
- Deliver bespoke wealth and investment solutions aligned with clients’ strategic goals.
- Coordinate with investment specialists and portfolio managers to craft personalised wealth strategies.
- Drive proactive origination efforts to expand the bank’s footprint in target markets.
- Develop and manage long‑term relationships with UHNW clients, family offices and entrepreneurs from the Middle East.
- Provide trusted, bespoke advice in collaboration with Investment Advisors and Portfolio Managers.
- Leverage the bank’s open‑architecture and client‑first ethos to deliver tailored wealth management solutions.
- Drive client acquisition and contribute to growth by effectively deploying your network and market expertise.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in private banking, with a focus on the relevant geographic region (Scandinavian, Central and Eastern European, or Middle Eastern).
- Strong client origination and relationship management skills, backed by a credible regional network.
- Deep expertise in Swiss private banking standards, regulatory frameworks, and risk‑aware advisory.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language, or other regional languages, is a strong advantage.
- 10–15+ years’ private banking/wealth management experience in Central and Eastern Europe, with a proven track record in client acquisition and portfolio development (Bulgaria, Romania, Poland preferred).
- Existing portfolio/network in the GCC, KSA, Turkey, or wider region.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, SAQ Wealth are advantageous.
- Eligible for a Swiss work permit (cross‑border OK where applicable).
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
