Responsibilities

  • Build financial models and conduct scenario analyses to support budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio performance evaluation.
  • Track, analyze, and interpret KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead portfolio performance reviews by presenting findings, facilitating discussions, and recommending data-driven actions.
  • Prepare accurate and timely performance reporting packages (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Deliver variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and market benchmarks, providing context and actionable insights.
  • Translate complex data into decision-ready takeaways for leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed insights into operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct targeted market and competitive research to support investment and portfolio growth initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support for long-term planning, including capital allocation and portfolio optimization.
  • Contribute to the design and enhancement of forecasting tools, reporting frameworks, and processes.
  • Execute ad hoc analyses to address urgent business questions, ensuring recommendations are supported by robust, data-driven insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
  • 3–5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or asset/portfolio management.
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong PowerPoint and Word skills.
  • CPA or CFA designation (or working toward completion) considered an asset.
  • Ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
