Position Overview
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Analyst of O&M Accounting will be located in our Dallas, Texas office, will report to the Senior Manager, O&M Accounting and assist with the MN8 Solutions entity accounting close. They will work closely with FP&A, operations, shared services, project accounting, and the corporate accounting group to ensure an accurate and timely accounting close for MN8 Solutions.
As The Senior Analyst Of O&M Accounting, You Will
- Manage the MN8 Solutions accounting close process and timelines, including processing journal entries, reconciling bank statements, and completing balance sheet reconciliations
- Process intercompany billing and ensure correct intercompany balances are reflected at the end of each month
- Ability to cover anything and everything in accounting, including the coding of purchase orders and invoices,
- Review the monthly and quarterly financial statements of MN8 Solutions with a large volume of intercompany balances
- Support SOX implementation efforts for the accounting close process
- Support monthly and quarterly deliverables for FP&A and Financial Reporting Teams
- Support deliverables for auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Ability to manage a varied and diverse workload, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high degree of attention to detail/commitment to continuous process improvement
- Start-up or entrepreneurial experience, a plus
- Assist with special projects on an ad-hoc or as requested basis
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry experience
- Renewables industry experience a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as within a team environment
- Experience with tight deadlines and timeliness for work performed
- Experience with Oracle and Salesforce a plus
