One of our real estate clients is hiring a Senior Accounting Manager in a newly created position. We're looking for someone with strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with a real estate developer, construction company, or a parallel industry such as manufacturing.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and project accounting
- Manage the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, including review and posting of journal entries
- Oversee multi-entity consolidations and project-level financial reporting
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and operational efficiencies
- Mentor and manage members of the accounting team as applicable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting/audit experience
- Real estate, construction, manufacturing, or related industry experience required
- Experience managing full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with multi-entity consolidations
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- CPA preferred (active or in progress)
