Position Overview
Virtelligence is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper with strong expertise in QuickBooks Online, payroll processing, invoicing, and reconciliations. This role is ideal for a dependable finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable supporting U.S.-based operations during night shift hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities using QuickBooks Online
- Process bi-weekly payroll using Paylocity and prepare payroll-related reports
- Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, journal entries, and general ledger updates
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and manage client, vendor, contractor, C2C, and VMS invoices
- Track employee timesheets, expenses, and billing support documentation
- Assist with month-end close, accruals, and prepaid expense schedules
- Maintain accurate Excel reports and support management with financial data
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and confidentiality in all finance processes
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll experience
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
- Experience in payroll, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good spoken and written English communication skills
- Experience in an IT services, consulting, or software company is preferred
