Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Accountant / Financial Controller to oversee and strengthen the company's financial management and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis capabilities, extensive accounting expertise, and proven experience in managing financial operations across multiple business units and project sites.

This role requires a strategic finance professional capable of supporting business growth through sound financial planning, feasibility studies, effective banking relationships, and robust financial controls.


Key Responsibilitie

sFinancial Planning & Analysi

  • sPrepare feasibility studies, financial models, and investment evaluations for new projects and business opportunities
  • .Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making
  • .Evaluate project profitability, return on investment (ROI), and financial risks

.Banking & Financin

  • gCoordinate and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions
  • .Manage and follow up on financing arrangements, loan facilities, credit lines, and banking requirements
  • .Prepare financial documentation and reports required for financing applications and renewals

.Accounting & Financial Managemen

  • tOversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
  • .Manage accounting functions across the company, head office, and various project sites
  • .Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
  • .Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes

.Financial Reporting & Control

  • sPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
  • .Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance procedures
  • .Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
  • .Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and external audit processes
  • .Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and cost management

.Systems & Process Improvemen

  • tOrganize, streamline, and enhance the company's accounting and financial systems
  • .Implement best practices in financial management, reporting, and internal controls
  • .Support digital transformation and automation initiatives within the finance function

Qualifications & Experien

  • ceBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related fiel
  • d.Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent is highly preferre
  • d.Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, financial control, or auditing role
  • s.Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysi
  • s.Experience coordinating with banks and managing financing and loan facilitie
  • s.Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal control framework
  • s.Experience managing finance operations across multiple locations, projects, or business units is an advantag
