Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic business decision-making. This role is responsible for managing accounting activities, maintaining financial controls, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.

The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives. This position requires strong financial acumen, attention to detail, leadership capabilities, and the ability to provide meaningful insights that support organizational growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial resources to support business objectives.
  • Support internal and external audit activities and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with business units to support financial decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as required by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial management practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems, ERP platforms, and financial software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret financial information and provide practical business recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
