💼 Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the South Woodford Green (London), for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, manage client accounts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, overseeing tax filings, assisting with audits, and managing day-to-day financial operations. The candidate will collaborate with clients, provide financial advice, and ensure best practices in accountancy are consistently upheld.

📌What we're Looking For

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice (essential)
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance
  • Experience managing client accounts and handling multiple deadlines
  • Confident communicator with the ability to deal directly with clients
  • Experience reviewing work
  • Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified preferred 

✔Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills in accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance
  • Proficiency in client account management, budgeting, and financial planning
  • Ability to manage audits, identify discrepancies, and implement best practices
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Relevant qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
