Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the company's purchasing, cost accounting, and inventory accounting processes, ensuring the accurate recording of transactions, monitoring project costs, administering warehouse operations, and maintaining compliance with company procedures and applicable financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Record and post purchase invoices into the accounting system, allocating them to the appropriate warehouses and cost centers.
- Record customs documentation and import-related costs, allocating additional costs in accordance with company procedures.
- Record and post expense invoices, classifying them by department and cost center.
- Record and post fixed assets in the accounting system, ensuring proper classification, depreciation calculation, and reconciliation with accounting records and physical inventory.
- Coordinate with the Technical Department to verify material quantities, warehouse receipts, work progress reports, and the accurate allocation of project costs.
- Conduct periodic site visits to verify and reconcile material quantities, project costs, and inventory against project documentation.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on warehouse balances, inventory status, and project costs.
- Process inventory consumption based on work progress reports and supporting documentation.
- Perform periodic inventory counts and participate in inventory committees for warehouses and fixed assets, ensuring reconciliation with accounting records.
- Analyze variances between budgeted and actual project costs.
- Prepare the draft VAT return, reconcile purchase and sales ledgers, and ensure the accuracy of data prior to submission.
- Support the monthly and annual financial closing processes by ensuring the accuracy of purchase, inventory, warehouse, and cost accounting records.
- Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and construction project accounting.
- Strong knowledge of tax legislation and VAT regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision).
- Experience using the SelfCare platform for purchase ledger reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management, inventory control, and cost center accounting.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in accounting records.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, particularly with project engineers.
