Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be an integral part of the Finance department supporting various accounting initiatives and projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Senior Accountant (Contract to Hire)

Green Bay, Wisconsin
Pay Range: up to $55 per hour depending on experience.
What’s the Job?
Perform period-end closing duties ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements
Prepare and analyze financial reports and variance analysis to support decision-making
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Provide general accounting support for finance initiatives and projects as assigned
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience managing General Ledger and accounting processes
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
Experience with fixed asset software (FAS) and financial systems such as BAAN, SAP, or Epicor
Excellent organizational and communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset
