We’re hiring a Senior Accountant at Viden Advisory in Milton.
This role would suit someone with around 2-5 years’ experience in business services/tax who is ready for more ownership, more client contact, and a genuine growth path, without the ridiculous long-hours culture that still seems normal in parts of the industry.
At Viden, we’re a growing advisory firm that punches well above our weight in terms of systems, professionalism, innovation and client work. We work primarily with successful family businesses and SME clients who genuinely value our advice and see us as part of their team.
You’ll work closely with two experienced Senior Managers and an Associate Director, with the opportunity to build and manage your own client portfolio within 6–12 months if progressing well.
The role will involve:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
- BAS, GST and compliance work
- Managing workflow and competing deadlines
- Exposure to advisory projects and more technical work
- Reviewing work from junior staff
- Working collaboratively with a genuinely supportive team
What we’re looking for:
• Have 2 years plus experience in business services/tax
• Are comfortable working across compliance and financials
• Use initiative and work well in a fast-moving environment
