The Role
We're hiring a capable Client Accountant to manage a portfolio of 15–20 Irish SME clients.
You'll be responsible for monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations, VAT returns, management accounts, maintaining complete and tidy working papers, and supporting year-end preparation.
This is a delivery-focused role. Deadlines matter. Accuracy matters. Ownership matters.
You'll work closely with a Client Manager and Senior Accountant, handling day-to-day delivery while they focus on advisory and complex review.
You'll be trusted to manage your workload without being chased.
What We're Looking For
BCom Accounting (or equivalent) minimum. Part-qualified or studying toward a professional qualification (SAICA, SAIPA, ACCA) is a plus.
2–4+ years in an accounting practice or strong BPO environment.
Experience managing multiple SME clients simultaneously. Confident delivering the full monthly cycle: bookkeeping → reconciliations → VAT → management accounts.
Strong Xero experience.
Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
If you've only worked in audit or internal finance, this role likely won't suit you.
