Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Financial Reporting team, supporting the delivery of high-quality reporting services to a diverse fiduciary client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting records, including bank reconciliations and accruals within a semi-automated system, ensuring exceptions are identified and resolved.
- Prepare and review financial statements for trusts and companies in line with relevant accounting standards (FRS102, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with relationship managers and internal teams to ensure all financial activity is captured and reported appropriately.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, maintaining strong working relationships and providing support as required.
- Coordinate and support the audit process, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of tax and regulatory filings.
About You
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (FRS102, IFRS) and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Experience preparing financial statements within a fiduciary or financial services environment
- Experience working with complex or consolidated structures would be advantageous.
