Finance Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Close
- Manage month‑end and year‑end financial closing in compliance IFRS4 requirements.
Regulatory & Compliance Reporting
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly & yearly regulatory reports to IRU, ensuring full compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Reinsurance Accounting & Settlements
- Oversee reinsurance accounts, monitoring outstanding balances, and timely RI settlements.
- Coordinate with reinsurers and underwriting teams to resolve discrepancies and pending balances.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Prepare and monitor ageing analysis and collection position reports.
- Execute online bank payments and manage ongoing bank correspondence and confirmations.
- Monitor active fixed deposits, including maturity tracking, renewals, and interest reconciliation.
Accounts Control & Reconciliations
- Perform and review intercompany reconciliations on a periodic basis.
Receivables & Collections
- Lead receivable follow‑ups with direct clients and major accounts.
- Supervise junior accounts for follow-ups with broker
Monthly Salary processing
- Process monthly payroll/Bank payment/booking
Audit & Assurance Support
- Provide full support to internal and external auditors
Team supervision
- Supervise junior accounts for daily tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and communication).
- Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Prior experience working within an insurance company is required.
