Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a temporary opportunity with a growing software company. This in-office Calgary role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong experience in GL accounting, reviewing journal entries, and month end.
Key Responsibilities
* Support month-end close, including journal entries, variance analysis, reconciliations, and subsidiary reporting.
* Prepare and review Net Suite reports for revenue, collections, transfer pricing, and multi-entity accounting.
* Review sales orders, invoices, vendor bills, expense reports, and bank reconciliations.
* Assist with audits, financial statement disclosures, MD&A support, and internal controls.
* Provide team coverage, mentor junior staff, and support finance projects.
* Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
Compensation & Details
$45-$50 per hour

Required Qualifications & Skills
* Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
* 3–5 years of senior accounting experience within a public company
* Support month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, audits, and process improvements.
* Experience with ERP systems, including multi-entity and multi-currency accounting.
