Grayson Search Partners has partnered with a highly innovative, $2B+ company in the Chicago suburbs looking for a Senior Accountant that will serve as a true business partner to senior leadership. This is a blend of FP&A + accounting leading month-end close, financial reporting, and driving insights through budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Maintain and improve corporate accounting processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with GAAP
- Partner with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Perform detailed variance analysis, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare internal financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership and board-level discussions
We are looking for someone out of public accounting, or a combination of public + industry 3-8 years.
This is a hybrid role. Applicants must sit in Illinois.
