MISSION STATEMENT

• Organize and execute financial closing processes and reporting, including Inventory, Fixed Asset Management.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting, tax and legal requirements.
• Manage tax-related matters, including tax filing and reporting.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

A) Inventory Management

• Process invoice posting for inventory purchases.
• Manage freight and duty-related accounting.

B) Fixed Asset Management

• Register Fixed Asset into the system.
• Manager depreciation / disposal / transfer posting.
• Handle Fixed Asset tax postings and payments.

C) Monthly Closing and Financial Reporting

• Execute journal entries (e.g. accruals, prepaid expenses, cost reclassification).
• Perform intercompany reconciliation.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to Group HQs

D) Audit and Tax Filings.

• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Prepare for tax filings and other tax reports.
• Ensure tax compliance (e.g., Transfer Pricing documentation).
• Establish and maintain processes in accordance with tax requirements.

E) Project / Team Support

• Participate in special project as required
• Provide support to team members

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education/Qualification:

• Bachelor degree, preferably with major in Business Administration, Economics, Finance & Accounting.
• Japanese CPA or Tax Accountant is a plus.

Experience:

• More than 5 years of work experience in finance, accounting, auditing or business analysis within a corporate environment.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Understanding of IFRS / US GAAP is a plus.

Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Strong ability to prioritize multi-tasks and control deadlines.
• Action oriented.

• Reliable and highly responsible.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Language:

• Fluent both English and Japanese.
• TOEIC over 800.
