PURPOSE OF THE JOB

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Operations

  • Key Owner of commercial Master Data set as part of commercial bridging commercial requirement to technical team (Outlet master, DIS, B2B, SFA, all other commercial data)
  • Ensure and drive smooth sales reporting (sales performance, market share, Industry performance, value chain, route to consumer…) & planning cycle
  • Ensure credibility of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes
  • Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights
  • Enforce data sanity from trade by challenging the answer the trade in the purpose to ensure quality of data and correct execution and communicate and drive changes if necessary, to improve data collection productivity
  • Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements
  • Own and deliver a reliable month-end distributor stock report, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with agreed definitions
  • Validate distributor stock data and highlight risks related to overstock, slow-moving SKUs, and stock aging
  • Act as the single point of truth for distributor stock performance and trends, supporting Sales, Supply Chain, and Management reviews
  • Lead the KEG returns initiative end-to-end by designing and documenting return processes, developing standardized reporting tools, and monitoring distributor and outlet-level performance
  • Analyse empty KEG circulation and collection efficiency
  • Provide regular performance updates and insights to drive improvement and ensure empty KEG collection targets are met

Analytical

  • Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing, and product teams
  • Ensure evaluation of monthly and annual sales goals, quotas and forecasts and keep track of market/ industry influences
  • Drive to build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions
  • Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyse business functions and key operations and performance metrics
  • Translate performance data into clear insights and recommended actions for Sales Leadership follow-up
  • Track action points and monitor progress against agreed corrective actions
  • Analyse performance vs. targets to identify gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Provide data-driven ad-hoc and recurring analyses—covering Stock in Days, SKU portfolio performance, outlet activity, and distributor/channel productivity—to enable informed Management Team decisions

Communication

  • Ensure data/ analysis translate for all granular individual level across functions and level in the organization
  • Ensure successful completion of data insight initiatives through strong project management and effective collaboration with stakeholders

Opportunity Identification

  • Continuously develop and present innovative ideas based on data driven approach to improve current business practices

People

  • Cross-functional stakeholder management
  • To further develop analytical skills of the Sales Administrators
  • Coach Sales Administrator to improve their performance
  • Assess performance and potential of his team and develop their capabilities

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar
  • At least 5 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data, and someone with at least 2 years of experience leading a team
  • Preferred experiences in FMCGs, Audit firm, or research – (any in business analyst fields)
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft excel & PowerPoint and knowledge of data modelling tools
  • Excellent time management and demonstrate ability to multitask and prioritize
  • High level of organization and detail-orientation
  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analysing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units
  • Experiences in working with multiple stake holders and managing expectation.
  • Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes
  • Ability to quickly gain a conceptual understanding of a complex situation and establish immediate credibility
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skill
  • Excellent communication, collaboration skills
