The Analyst, Revenue Accounting, reporting to the Manager, Revenue Accounting, will be responsible for supporting Transcarent’s Revenue team as well as the Clinical Operations team by applying analytical and organizational skills to influence Performance Guarantee (PG) attainment and provide accurate PG reporting. This role will manage and synthesize various data sets and PG results in order to become the source of truth to ensure alignment across the organization. Success in this role requires collaboration across a variety of organizational partners including Finance, Customer Success, Clinical Operations, and others to enable data-driven decision-making, timely reporting, and continuous process improvements.
What you’ll do:
- Review customer contracts for all relevant PG data and calculations in order to create and/or update customer PG trackers as the source of truth for PG results
- Analyze PG results and data in order to identify any trends or potential improvements to assist in maximum PG attainment
- Collaborate with various groups across the organization to ensure alignment on PG reporting at an executive level as well as any customer reporting
- Support other members of the Revenue/Finance team in order to accurately record revenue based upon customer PG expectations
- Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions in order to continuously automate and improve where possible
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data analysis, or related field
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience with financial and/or data analysis
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite tools
- Ability and desire to learn new systems, and proficiency in the implementation of new/unfamiliar software tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, change-infused, demanding environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex issues clearly and concisely
- Self-starter with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset and desire to add value
- Team player, capable of effective collaboration across a highly matrixed organization focused on attention to detail and adaptability
- Time management and task prioritization
Nice to have:
- Experience with using a data visualization tool (i.e., QlikSense, Tableau)
- Experience reviewing complex customer contracts
- Comfort working with large datasets and building dashboards
