About the role
We are currently looking for a Reporting Manager to join our team in Bucharest, Romania!
Reporting to the CFO and Country Manager (functional reporting) and cooperating with external counterparties and internal departments, you will coordinate the financial accounting department in order to ensure timely and accurate reports with the frequency requested by the management and also ad -hoc reporting upon request.
Main responsibilities:
- Prepares the statutory financial accounts and IFRS financial accounts at the level of the Company and consolidated level;
- Provides support in preparation and direct preparation of documents requested for internal and external audit;
- Coordinates and supervises the preparation of the monthly trial balance and various types of reporting for management and external parties;
- Monitors cash flow to ensure proper financing;
- Coordinates preparation of cash flows and payments to ensure third party payments and state budget are made in due time;
- Reviews and approves the purchase orders to be issued by the Company;
- Represents the Company in relation to fiscal authorities, banks, internal and external auditors;
- Business partners with relevant managers within the company to provide financial support, information and proper set of assumptions for setting up and following upon the budgeting process. Provides correlations and analysis between existing company plans and previous existing data to allow correct decision-making process;
- Continuously looking for cost-reduction opportunities;
- Cultivates professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies;
- Establishes and maintains financial policies and procedures for the company;
- Experienced with building and owning complex company financial model that forecasts income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, will be considered as advantage;
- Contracts outside services as needed (e.g. tax, audit, financing).
Skills & Experience
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in economics or business;
- 5 years' experience in a similar position or minimum 8 years of Big 4 experience;
- Independent user: SAP, Excel, Power Point;
- Romanian and English – professional level and other foreign languages will be an advantage;
- Strong Knowledge of Accounting Principles under IFRS, OMF and tax requirements;
- Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision;
- Ability to adapt to new situations and to provide reports to the management with monthly, quarterly, half year and yearly frequency and ad-hoc reporting upon request
