Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Remote Director of Revenue Cycle for a rapidly growing healthcare services organization. This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere within the United States, working standard hours of 8:00am–5:00pm CST.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Director of Revenue Cycle will lead and optimize revenue cycle operations across a growing network of healthcare practices. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth organization in a pivotal leadership role focused on driving operational excellence, process improvement, and financial performance. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will oversee a team of revenue cycle professionals while helping guide the organization through continued growth, change, and strategic initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead day-to-day revenue cycle operations, ensuring efficient billing, collections, reimbursement, and revenue optimization processes
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of revenue cycle professionals while fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Identify, implement, and drive process enhancements, system improvements, and operational best practices across the revenue cycle function
- Partner with executive leadership and practice stakeholders to improve financial performance, reporting, and operational outcomes
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyze trends, and develop action plans to address opportunities and challenges
- Serve as a trusted resource for internal and external stakeholders while supporting organizational growth and change management initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Revenue cycle leadership experience within a healthcare environment
- Ophthalmology experience strongly preferred
- Experience utilizing Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) or similar practice management and EHR platforms
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools
- Demonstrated success leading teams, implementing change, and partnering effectively with both operational and executive stakeholders
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
