Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (Maternity Leave Cover)
This is a maternity leave cover temporary position – As a Director of Financial Planning & Administration, you will own all aspects of Finance as it relates to the company’s financial and accounting processes for ASICS Digital business. Legal responsibilities to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations as well as corporate responsibility. You will serve as a key member of the leadership team and be responsible for all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, compensation planning, forecasting needs and cash flow management. You will build strong working relationships within ASICS Digital as well as the global ASICS leadership team to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Annual Budget & Forecasting:
Lead the annual budget and monthly forecasting process
Ensure timely completion of financial reports and statements
Partner with leadership on annual compensation planning and budgeting
Build close partnerships with leadership to dive eCommerce and Mobile App revenue growth
Risk Management:
Build strong relationships within the business units and partners to understand the business needs
Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts
Maintain an appropriate system of financial controls and risk management in partnership with Legal Counsel
Cash Flow:
Control and evaluate the organizations cash requirements and CapEx business case
Management:
Oversee and guide a team of 4+ members
Set high standards of operational excellence
Define and track team objectives and performance metrics
Craft and execute strategies and department plans
Provide support, coaching, and deliver feedback to team members, with the intention to grow them in their role and career
Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards
Other Duties and Responsibilities as Directed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
10+ years of finance and operational business experience
Strong FP&A experience within a multi-national organization
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
2+ years of functional SAP knowledge
Individual and Team management capabilities which enables, empowers and drives collective results
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with senior stakeholder management/including management team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven organizational effectiveness, being able and willing to coordinate with multiple decision makers across business lines to achieve outcomes
Strategical and tactical but with a hands-on mentality
Ability to thrive in a challenging environment and develop new skills
Proactive and flexible
Effective problem solver
Cultural sensitivity skills
