Bright Minds leading electrical construction contractor client focused on power delivery infrastructure is seeking a Regional Vice President of Operations to lead regional operations supporting transmission line, substation, and distribution projects across the Midwest. This role will oversee project execution, operational leadership, and regional financial performance while supporting major utility infrastructure programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for regional construction operations across transmission, substation, and distribution projects
- Oversee Operations Managers, Project Managers, and field leadership across multiple projects
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Maintain responsibility for regional P&L performance, including revenue, margin, and backlog management
- Review project financial performance, forecasts, and major change orders
- Provide executive oversight for large or complex projects and support resolution of operational challenges
- Maintain relationships with utility clients and support major project pursuits
- Champion strong safety performance and compliance
- Develop regional leadership teams and support workforce planning and growth initiatives
Requirements for the Regional Vice President of Operations:
- 15+ years of experience in electrical construction or power delivery infrastructure
- Leadership experience managing transmission, substation, or distribution construction operations
- Strong background in project financials, operations management, and regional leadership
- Experience supporting utility clients and major infrastructure programs
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred
