About the Company

A leading convenience retail organization is seeking a highly experienced Regional Manager to oversee multi‑unit store operations within the Savannah, Georgia market. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, people leadership, and brand execution across a designated region. Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Provide leadership and oversight for a portfolio of company‑operated convenience stores within the region
  • Ensure consistent execution of operational standards, merchandising programs, and brand initiatives
  • Drive excellence in fuel, foodservice, and retail operations
  • Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions to improve performance and compliance

Financial Performance

  • Own regional P&L performance, including sales growth, margin improvement, and expense control
  • Analyze financial reports and KPIs to identify opportunities and risks
  • Develop and execute action plans to exceed budgeted targets

People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop District/Area Managers and Store Leadership
  • Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, and bench strength across the region
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all employment policies, wage/hour laws, and company standards

Compliance, Safety & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, including:
  • Safety and security
  • Food safety
  • Fuel and environmental compliance
  • Partner with internal teams to address audits, incidents, and corrective actions
  • Promote a strong safety‑first culture across the region

Strategic Execution

  • Execute corporate initiatives while tailoring approaches to local market conditions
  • Monitor competitive activity and emerging market trends
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Facilities, HR, Finance, and Supply Chain partners

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in the convenience store, retail, QSR, or multi‑unit environment
  • Proven success leading multi‑site operations with full P&L responsibility
  • Strong understanding of fuel retail and/or foodservice operations (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change and ambiguity
  • Excellent business acumen, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently throughout the region

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing 20+ locations or a geographically dispersed portfolio
  • Background with high‑volume or complex retail operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
