We are seeking an experienced Regional Finance Manager – Controlling & FP&A to provide financial leadership across our Latin America operations.

This role requires a well-rounded finance leader who combines a strong foundation in accounting, controlling, manufacturing finance, and financial planning with the ability to influence stakeholders, challenge business performance, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.

The successful candidate will work closely with country controllers, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, FP&A, and regional leadership teams to ensure financial integrity, improve operational performance, strengthen forecasting and reporting, and provide meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.

This position is not intended to replace local country controllers or serve as the technical expert for every statutory or tax matter across LATAM. Instead, the role will provide regional leadership, governance, coordination, and business partnership, leveraging local finance teams and subject-matter experts where appropriate.

The ideal candidate has developed experience across both Controlling/Accounting and FP&A/Business Finance, preferably within multinational manufacturing organizations, and has the leadership presence required to represent Finance across a complex and highly matrixed region.

This position will be based in Bogotá, Colombia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide regional financial leadership across LATAM, ensuring alignment between local finance teams, regional leadership, and corporate Finance.
  • Coordinate and oversee regional accounting, controlling, forecasting, budgeting, and performance-management activities.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial results across multiple countries, identifying key risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Partner with country controllers to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with corporate accounting policies.
  • Lead monthly performance reviews, variance analysis, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Challenge business and operational results by translating financial data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial, and FP&A teams to improve profitability, productivity, and working-capital performance.
  • Support manufacturing-finance activities, including product costing, inventory analysis, standard versus actual cost analysis, and identification of operational cost drivers.
  • Drive financial and operational KPI tracking across regional manufacturing sites.
  • Support financial planning, business cases, scenario analysis, benchmarking, and strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate collaboration across local, regional, and global finance teams within a highly matrixed organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting quality, forecasting accuracy, and the effectiveness of the financial close.
  • Provide leadership, influence, and guidance to multicultural teams, including stakeholders who may not report directly to the position.
  • Communicate financial performance, risks, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience across Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, Business Finance, Manufacturing Finance, or related areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in both:
  • Accounting, controlling, cost accounting, or financial reporting; and
  • FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, or business partnering.
  • Strong experience within multinational manufacturing or industrial organizations.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing plants, operations, inventory, and product-costing environments.
  • Experience working across multiple countries or within a regional finance structure.
  • Previous experience leading teams or influencing finance professionals across different locations.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, internal controls, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience partnering with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and senior business leaders.
  • Ability to challenge business performance and communicate financial information in a clear, concise, and commercially relevant manner.
  • Experience with US GAAP, IFRS, or multinational corporate reporting environments.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP, consolidation, planning, or BI systems.
  • Fluent English and Spanish required.
  • Portuguese is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership presence, stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to operate effectively in an evolving and highly matrixed environment.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid model based in Bogotá, Colombia.
  • Approximately 10% international travel.
