Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Regional Finance Executive to manage the full spectrum of accounting operations for our Malaysia-based entities while supporting our broader regional financial reporting and statutory compliance. You will be the backbone of our day-to-day finance operations, ensuring seamless statutory compliance, accurate month-end reporting, and efficient cash flow management across multiple jurisdictions. This is a full-time, on-site position located in KL Eco City.
Key Responsibilities
• Full Spectrum Accounting: Handle the full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL) and perform monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly management accounts and maintain fixed asset registers, ensuring accuracy for financial reporting.
• Treasury & Cash Flow: Oversee invoicing, payment processing; monitor debtor/creditor aging to ensure healthy cash flow.
• Regional Financial Reporting and Statutory Compliance:
• Malaysia: Manage bi-monthly SST filings and ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, and PCB.
• Region: Support statutory filings and audits for entities in Singapore, Indonesia, and greater China.
• Audit & Liaison: Coordinate directly with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to meet all regulatory deadlines.
• Process Excellence: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and local taxation laws.
Requirements
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of hands-on experience handling full sets of accounts, ideally within an SME or regional setup. Fresh Grads are welcome too!
• Good understanding of Malaysian tax/statutory compliance.
• Proficient in Infotech Accounting software and MS Excel/Google Sheets.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with the teams and external partners.
