Title: Wealth Planning Quality Analyst

Duration: 6 Months

SUMMARY:

Role Overview

The Wealth Planning Quality Analyst is responsible for reviewing completed financial plans to ensure they meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal best practices. The role plays a key part in supporting consistent, high quality financial planning outcomes by assessing plans against predetermined criteria, identifying gaps or risks, and providing clear, objective feedback.

This role requires strong attention to detail, a solid financial planning background, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment.

This role consists in reviewing financial plans and communicating feedback to the appropriate parties

Key Accountabilities

• Review completed financial plans against predefined quality standards, controls, and assessment criteria

• Assess plans for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and adherence to sound financial planning principles

• Identify errors, gaps, risks, or areas of improvement and document findings clearly and consistently

• Ensure financial plans align with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and quality benchmarks

• Track and report quality review outcomes, trends, and recurring issues to support continuous improvement

• Collaborate with team members and internal partners to clarify expectations and support quality objectives

• Support a culture of quality, attention to detail, and accountability within the wealth planning process

MUST HAVE

• Post secondary education in finance, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Financial planning experience gained through advisory, technical, or planning support roles

• Financial planning designation, PFP® or QAFP®

• Strong understanding of core financial planning concepts (e.g., retirement, cash flow, investments, insurance, estate and tax considerations)

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to evaluate complex information accurately

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and judgement skills

• Ability to interpret and apply predetermined criteria objectively and consistently

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly document review findings

• Persuasive communications skills to assist front line planners prepare corrected plans for re-presentation to clients where required through virtual meetings.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team based environment

NICE TO HAVE

• Proficiency in Client 365 tools (Excel, Word, Teams) and financial planning software is an asset

• Bilingual in French would be an asset.
