PROJECT FINANCE MANAGER
The Project Finance Manager will be responsible for blending modeling and forecasting with rigorous contractual compliance, and stakeholder coordination from structuring new deals through coordinating cross-functional collaboration to safeguard project financial performance and optimize capital structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure project compliance with financing documents
- Own financial covenants’ compliance and reporting requirements
- Maintain and foster relations with current and prospective financing parties
- Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration to lead non-financial reporting
- Communicate concepts from all links in the project chain to stakeholders
- Management and forecast of the projects’ short‑term cash needs (Capex)
- Own short-term financial forecasting and reforecasting to optimize liquidity
- Prepare cash and liquidity dashboards for project and corporate leadership
- Manage intra–group funding flows and oversee project‑specific bank accounts
- Build, maintain, and sensitize project models: debt sizing, covenants, and returns
- Support negotiation of financing documents with sponsors, lenders, and counsel
- Team development and process review and breakdown to improve throughput
- Propose enhancements to workflows, automation, and system utilization
Successful Candidate Profile
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, law, or a related field – Postgrad degrees and relevant experience will be considered on equal footing, with attention to the depth of the candidate’s experience.
· 2-5 years of experience in one or a few of the following areas: Project/Structured Finance, Lender Compliance, Corporate Finance, M&A and Valuations, Private Credit, Banking, Lending, or Portfolio Management.
· Must: strong financial modelling skills, English proficiency (C1), negotiation and presentation of complex documents, attention to detail, results orientation, focus on optimization and automation of tasks, team leadership, professional integrity, effective communication, and emotional intelligence.
· Desirable: Power BI, Tableau, VBA, or Python. Experience with syndicated loans and infrastructure finance, experience with Project and Corporate Trusts.
