Role Description
- This is a 80-100% hybrid role based in Bern, Switzerland, with some flexibility for work-from-home arrangements. The Project Finance / Investor Outreach Advisor will manage relationships with investors, develop financing strategies, and support the outreach process to secure investment for utility-scale solar projects in Southern Africa. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial models, analyzing investment opportunities, drafting proposals, and managing investor communication with relevant investors (development finance institutions,energy funds, infrastructure investors, family offices).
Qualifications
- Private sector work experience in Africa
- Expertise in Project Finance, Financial Modeling, and Investment Analysis
- Strong skills in Business Development, Investor Outreach, and Relationship Management
- Proficiency in Market Research, Analytics, and Reporting
- Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills
- Experience in Renewable Energy is advantageous
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Ability to liaise effectively with international stakeholders
