About the Company

We are a multi-brand consumer products company operating three distinct brands under a single holding company. We sell across direct-to-consumer (D2C), Amazon, and wholesale channels, sourcing both finished goods and raw materials — domestically and internationally (primarily China). Fulfillment is handled through a network of third-party logistics (3PL) partners across the United States and Canada. (Company name is withheld at this stage and shared with candidates during the interview process.)

About the Role

We're hiring a hands-on Procurement Specialist to own purchasing across all three of our brands. You'll translate sales and production demand into buying decisions, then manage every purchase order from first quote to warehouse receipt — working entirely in Odoo. This is a remote, part-time position with a high degree of autonomy, and it includes a full benefits package. For the right person, there's a clear path to grow this role into a full-time position over time. It's an ideal fit for an organized buyer who's comfortable juggling multiple brands, suppliers, and logistics partners at once.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory needs across three brands, aligning purchasing with sales demand (D2C, Amazon, wholesale) and production schedules
  • Plan production runs for subcontracted manufacturing and purchase the raw materials required to support them
  • Coordinate with suppliers and obtain quotes; compare pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities, and terms
  • Create, issue, and manage purchase orders end-to-end in Odoo — from quote through receipt
  • Track open POs and inbound shipments through to receiving; confirm accurate receipt and resolve quantity, cost, or damage discrepancies
  • Coordinate with the logistics team and 3PL partners (three in the U.S., one in Vancouver, Canada) on inbound shipments, including imports arriving primarily from China
  • Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and replenishment to prevent both stockouts and overstock
  • Maintain accurate item, vendor, cost, and lead-time data in Odoo across all three entities
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships; negotiate price, terms, and lead times
  • Partner with sales, operations, and finance to forecast demand and flag supply risks early
  • Required Qualifications

    • 1+ year of hands-on ERP experience — Odoo strongly preferred. Comparable ERP experience (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Fishbowl) will also be considered (please name the ERP(s) you've used in your application)
    • 1–3 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply-chain experience
    • Demonstrated experience creating and managing purchase orders from quote to receipt
    • Solid understanding of inventory management — reorder points, lead times, and matching supply to demand
    • Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets)
    • Clear written and verbal communication; confident working directly with suppliers
    • Highly organized and self-directed, able to manage purchasing for multiple entities independently in a remote environment
    • Authorized to work in the United States
    • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
  • Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

    • Direct, hands-on experience specifically with Odoo (Purchase, Inventory, and Manufacturing modules)
    • Experience importing from China and familiarity with international freight, Incoterms, and customs/duties
    • Experience coordinating with 3PL or warehouse partners
    • Experience in a multi-entity or multi-brand operation
    • Familiarity with D2C, Amazon (Seller/Vendor Central), and wholesale fulfillment
    • Exposure to production planning and subcontract manufacturing
    • APICS/CPIM (or similar) supply-chain certification
  • Schedule, Location & Compensation

    • Part-time: 20–30 hours per week, with potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate
    • Fully remote within the United States
    • $35–$50 per hour, commensurate with experience
    • Benefits: health plan, 401(k), supplemental insurance, and parental leave
  • How to Apply

Submit your resume along with a brief note describing your hands-on Odoo experience and the types of products or supply chains you've purchased for.
