We are currently partnered with a leading technology-focused middle market private equity firm managing approximately $2.8 billion in AUM. The firm is seeking an Associate to join its investment team. The Associate will support all aspects of the investment process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, and portfolio company monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models, including LBO models, for prospective and existing portfolio investments
- Conduct industry, market, and company-specific due diligence
- Prepare investment memoranda and materials for Investment Committee
- Coordinate with legal counsel, accountants, and other third-party advisors during transaction execution
- Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives
- Assist with deal sourcing and maintaining relationships with intermediaries
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or growth equity
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work independently in a small team environment
