I'm partnered with a well-established Columbus-based PE firm adding an Associate to their investment team. They've been in the market for over 25 years, have a strong track record across multiple funds, and are known for providing flexible capital to lower middle market companies without getting in management's way post-close.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build financial models and investment return analyses
- Conduct industry and company research
- Assist with due diligence and transaction execution
- Assist in preparing presentations and investment memorandums for the investment committee
- Work with the investment team on monitoring portfolio company performance, quarterly valuations, and add-on acquisitions
- Support business development teams as needed
What They're Looking For:
- 2-4 years in PE, investment banking, commercial banking, private credit, business valuation, or transaction advisory
- Strong financial modeling skills and analytical instincts
- Solid accounting and finance fundamentals
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once without losing the thread
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
