We are currently working with a New York-based private equity firm seeking to add an Associate to its investment team. The firm has raised over $6 billion across 10 funds. With a 30-year track record and a history of strong performance, the firm takes a disciplined, value-oriented approach to investing across a broad set of industries.
The team has been among the more active sponsors in the market over the past year, closing three new platform investments and actively pursuing additional opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate within a lean team working on end to end deals
Build detailed financial models and conduct valuation analyses
Collaborate with portfolio company management and internal resources to drive value creation
Prepare materials for investment committee meetings and board presentations
Track portfolio performance and support ongoing strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
1.5–3 years of experience in investment banking or private equity
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Outstanding academic credentials and demonstrated intellectual curiosity
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a small, entrepreneurial team
