An established investment and wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Investment Manager to join its Wealth Management function.

You'll be responsible for:

Investment Solutions

  • Partner with advisers and relationship managers to develop tailored investment strategies for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, corporate clients and institutional investors.
  • Support portfolio construction, strategic asset allocation and ongoing investment recommendations throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Provide technical expertise on investment solutions while ensuring strong risk management principles.

Market Insights

  • Produce regular market commentary, investment updates and thematic research.
  • Translate complex market developments into practical insights for advisers and clients.
  • Deliver presentations and communicate investment ideas clearly across internal and external audiences.
  • Act as a trusted investment specialist for the advisory business.

Investment Innovation

  • Work alongside investment specialists and portfolio teams to identify new investment opportunities and product solutions.
  • Help develop innovative ways to implement investment views using a broad range of instruments.
  • Contribute to strategic projects aimed at enhancing the firm's advisory offering.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Investment Management or a related discipline (postgraduate qualification desirable).
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, QFA, CAIA or equivalent are highly regarded.

Required Skills

  • 5–10 years' experience within investment strategy, portfolio management, wealth management or a related investment role.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation and financial markets.
  • Experience communicating investment ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Bloomberg and investment analytics platforms is advantageous.
  • Practical knowledge of Python or other programming languages would be beneficial.
